Raymond Douglas "Doug" Anderson, 78, of Ripley, WV passed away October 22, 2022 at Mountain View Care Center following an extended illness.

He was born August 4, 1944 in Jackson County a son of the late Raymond Otho and Cora Onallee (Rhodes) Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Anderson, Sr.

Doug was a United States Army veteran and a retired construction worker and truck driver.

Survivors include his son, Jason Anderson; daughters, Lisa Landis (Rick) and Melanie Williams (Joe); brother, Michael Anderson; sisters, Nancy Welch and Netta Webster (Tony); longtime companion, Fern Friend; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services. Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV is providing arrangements.
