Reginald "Reg" Carl Gump, 60, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away December 19, 2024 in Ravenswood from a sudden illness.

He was born April 8, 1964, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late John Clark and Mary Eileen (Spurbeck) Gump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Glenn Gump; sister in law Debbie Gump and niece Kelly Gump Thompson.

He was a graduate of Ravenswood High School and enjoyed sports and athletics. He was employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his partner, Janet L. Belcher of Ravenswood; son, Nathan A. Gump of Des Moines, IA; brother, Richard T. "Rick" Gump of Ravenswood; stepdaughters, Anna K. McKenzie of Ripley and Mary Vance of Ravenswood; 5 grandchildren; nieces, Candi (Gump) Frye and Alan Frye, Ashlee (Gump) Canfield; nephews, Johnathan Gump, Mickey (Ashley) Gump, Jake (Julia) Gump; four great nieces and six great nephews.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Friday, December 27, 2024 at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 12 o'clock noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
