Rex Allen Eads, 58, of Sissonville, WV, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 30, 2023, at home.

He was born August 12, 1964, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Lorne Edward and Thelma Lucille (Gibson) Eads. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kermit and Harold Eads.

Rex had previously worked as a Crew Member for the Department of Highways and held various other jobs. He was known as the "life of the party" and was quite a jokester with others which brought him joy. Rex lived a simple life and loved watching WWE Wrestling events.

Survivors include his children, Richard Eads and his wife, Breanna of Charleston, Jessica Eads of Charleston; sister, Penny Nichols and her husband, Anthony of Cross Lanes and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Charleston Mountain Mission Church, 1600 Seventh Ave. Charleston, WV, with Pastor Kenny Petry officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the church.
