Richard L. Rhodes , 90, of Evans, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Camden Clark Medical Center, following an extended illness.

He was born April 1, 1931, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Delmer C. and Nettie E. (Ingram) Rhodes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna; brothers, Lawrence "Corky" Rhodes, Delmer C. Rhodes Jr., sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rhodes, Lou Rhodes and brother-in-law, Robert Rhodes.

Richard was a United States Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He retired as an Electrical Engineer from Bristol Babcock, in Connecticut with many years of service. Richard was an avid golfer, enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time at the camp in Hardy County.

Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Rhodes of St. Albans, Sharon Waugh of Melbourne, FL; special caregiver and niece, Beth Mack and her husband, Chris of Evans, and several other nieces, nephews, and friends.

In honoring Richards wishes, there will be no public services.
