Ronald Lee Barton, 76, of Point Pleasant, WV, formerly of Ravenswood passed away June 25, 2026 in Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center, Point Pleasant, WV, following an extended illness.

He was born November 7, 1949, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Bill M. and Rachel Elizabeth (Reynolds) Barton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sandi Barton; son, Travis Barton.

He was a 1967 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. He was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran. Ron, enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, reading, golf and was a Christian. He was a retired millwright from Constellium, Ravenswood, WV, with 40 plus years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local # 5668, Ravenswood.

Survivors include his children, Shane (Elizabeth) Barton of Oak Hill, OH; daughter, Brooke Young of Gallipolis, OH; step-daughters, Elizabeth (Jonathon) Dauch of Point Pleasant, WV and Leslie (Jim) Arnold of Vincent, OH; brothers Gary Barton of Scott Depot, WV and Billy Joe Barton of Leon, WV; sister, Kimberly Barton of Pickerington, OH; special friend and former spouse, Patty Barton of Gallipolis, OH; six grandchildren.

Private viewing and service will be Wednesday ~ July 1, 2026 at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating.
