Ronald Keith Hackney, 59, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away February 4, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV, following a sudden illness.

He was born November 14, 1961 in Ripley, WV, a son of the late Romie Lewis and Ada Margaret (Rhodes) Hackney. His brother, Paul "Buck" Hackney also preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. He was a former employee of Hartley Manufacturing, Ravenswood, WV and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheelers and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Angela Sue Hackney; daughter, Samantha Barnett of Ravenswood; brother, Romie Hackney Jr. of Sandyville; sisters, Betty Burgess of Sandyville, Brenda Bernard of Lubeck, Donna Friend of Mason, JoAnn Goff of Silverton, Lemmel Hackney of Ripley, Reva Hackney of Ravenswood and Rita Mae Rhodes of Cottageville; grandchildren, Raiden Wallace, Mileena Combs, Erron Barnett and Scarlet Brewster.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
