Rose Marie "Peggy" (Holstein) Nelson, 87, of Ripley, WV, passed away May 25, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born April 1, 1938, in Boomer, WV, a daughter of the late Clifford Shirley and Mildred Virginia (Walker) Holstine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Holstine; sister, Shelvia Dingus

She was a retired, Ripley, WV Walmart Associate with over 25 years of service. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, David Nelson of Miami, FL, Mark Nelson of Tulsa OK, Aaron Nelson of Gay, WV and Nathan (Christy) Nelson of Ravenswood, WV; daughter, Sherry Nelson, of Fairplain, WV; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
