Ruth Ann (Lambert) Gillenwater, 91, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away September 13, 2021, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born July 20, 1930, in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Anthony Lambert and Nellie Lucas.

She was a former dental assistant for McCann Dental in Ravenswood. Ruth enjoyed cooking and flowers, and was famous for her cheeseburgers.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Ann McCoy of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Brett McCoy, Shane Gillenwater, and Nikki Hayes; great grandchildren, Whitney (Ryan) Fulk, Jessica (Michael) Conger, Laken McCoy, Kiera McCoy, Madison Hayes, Kaiden Hayes; 3 great-grandchildren, Stella Fulk, Rhett Conger, and Truett Fulk; sister Madalene Lambert; and daughter in law, Jill (Tim) Tidd.

In addition to her parents, and her step dad, Cub Conley, who raised her, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bethel Gillenwater, and her son, Bethel Gillenwater, Jr.
