Sean Patrick Roberts, 50, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Jackson County, WV, passed away October 8, 2022, from injuries sustained in a ATV accident.

He was born March 4, 1972, in Barberton, OH, the son of Delmas (Judy) Roberts of Eleanor and Peggy S. (Clay) Pate, of Evans, WV. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Roberts; step-father, Bill Pate; and two nephews, Cameron Roberts and Seth Windland.

Sean was a 1991 graduate of Ravenswood High School and attended the Assembly of God Church in Spencer, WV. He had previously worked as a Dispatcher for Container Port with several years of service. Sean had a witty personality and loved to tell jokes, fish and spend time with his kids, and family.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife of 17 years, Wendy (Swank) Roberts; son, Zachariah Swank; daughter, Jasmyne Swank; brothers, David Roberts, Michael (Linda) Roberts, Mark Roberts; sister, Teresa (David) Windland; step-brothers, Kenny Pate, Billy Pate Jr., , Timmy Higgninbotham, Tommy(Pam) Higginbotham, Todd (Angie) Higginbotham; half-brother, Rodney Greathouse; grandchildren, Jaxsyn and Grace and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services at this time.
