Selma Jean (Weldon) Knopp, 69, of Leroy, WV, passed away March 18, 2026 in West Virginia University Hospital, Camden Clark, Parkersburg, WV.

She was born September 20, 1956, in Montgomery, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Vonda "Bonnie" (Oiler) Weldon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Weldon.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School. She was a homemaker, a babysitter and enjoyed reading and arts and crafts. She was a Christian.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Jack B. Knopp; son, Justin Wayne Knopp of Frozen Camp; daughter, Jaclyn Ann Atkinson and her husband Joe of Murraysville, WV; grandchildren, Calleigh Atkinson, Emily Atkinson, Hunter Knopp, Hayden Knopp and Hudson Knopp.

Service will be 11 a.m. ~ Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Jack Withrow officiating. Burial will follow in Baptist Grove Cemetery, Leroy, WV. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
