Sharon Jo Ann (Westfall) Starcher, 71 , of Given, (Putnam County) passed away August 25, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, following a brief illness.

She was born November 23, 1950, a daughter of the late Clellie Hershel and Helen Eunice (Weekley) Westfall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Wayne Starcher; sisters, Helen Parr and June Elliot.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant working for Eldercare of Ripley, WV and Home Health. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching television, and talking to family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Curtis (Missy) Starcher of Cottageville, WV; daughters, Rita (Neil) Ball of Nitro, WV and Helen Starcher of Bancroft, WV; sister, Lois Westfall of Belpre, OH; grandchildren, Seldon, Morgan, McKenzie, William, Austin and Levi; and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Diana Starcher and Kelsey Westfall for their care and compassion for our mother during this time.

There will be no public services.
