Sharon Kay (Durst) Barnes, 58, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away November 25, 2020, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV, following a brief illness.

She was born August 21, 1962 in Wheeling a daughter of Kenneth William and Loretta Jean (Miller) Durst of Cottageville, WV. Her spouse, Charles Keith Barnes, and a sister, Linda (Durst) Morgan preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School, Class of 1980. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sharon,   was formerly employed with Home Health, G.S. of West Virginia and J.C.D.C. She enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her sons, Brian K. Barnes of Ravenswood, Kenneth (Christa) Barnes of Ravenswood and Jason Durst of Cottageville; 8 grandchildren, Kimber and Morgan Durst, Maddie, Shaylee, Ally, Kalynn, Elijah, and Ryker Barnes.

Service will be 7 p.m. ~ Thursday, December 3, 2020 in the Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV with Elmer Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
