Shawn Alan King, 50 of Evans, WV passed away March 1, 2024 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born May 21, 1973 in Ripley, WV, the son of Terry Alan and Beverly Jean (Bower) King of Evans.

Shawn was a 1992 graduate of Ripley High School and attended WVP-P. He was employed as a sales clerk and worked with electronics and programming. He enjoyed photographing wildlife, riding his 4-wheeler on country roads and just being at home. He was a Christian.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Ann King of Evans, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Michael McIntyre and Pastor Ben Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
