Sherri Rene Nelson, 62, of Ripley, WV, passed away June 6, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born February 27, 1963, in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Richard David Nelson and Rose Marie (Holstein) Nelson.

She was a graduate of Ravenswood High School. She worked at Walmart of Ripley in the shoe department and enjoyed flowers, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Ashley (Les) Parsons and Stacy Nelson of Ripley; brothers, David Nelson of Miami, FL, Mark Nelson of Tulsa, OK, Aaron Nelson of Gay and Nathan (Christy) Nelson of Ravenswood; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

There will be no public services at this time. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
