Shirley Marie (Pohlman) Goodale, 88, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Ravenswood Care Center, with family by her side.

She was born August 15, 1935, in Saginaw, Michigan, a daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Virginia (Maciejewski) Pohlman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarke W. Goodale and brother, Walter Pohlman Jr.

Shirley retired in 1992 from the production department of 3M in California. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ravenswood and enjoyed bowling, line dancing, playing card games with friends and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Janet Larocca and husband, Tom of Spring, TX, Elizabeth Miller and husband, Greg of Ravenswood, Peter Goodale of California, Adam Goodale of Georgia, Randi Wilkes and husband, Steve of Ravenswood; sister, Bonnie Lineberry and husband, Gary of Ripley; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2023, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 600 Crooks Avenue, Ravenswood, West Virginia with Father Pen officiating. Interment will be in Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV.
