Steven Paul Bigley, 66, of Ravenswood, WV, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 12, 2024, in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, following an extended illness.

He was born July 22, 1958, a son of Willadean G. (Walker) Bigley, of Ravenswood and the late Hal Dayton Bigley, Sr.

Steven was a graduate of Ravenwood High School where he was active in the FFA. He was a former employee of Canteen Food Service and later retired from K.S. of West Virginia. He was a faithful member and former usher of the Second Baptist Church, Ravenswood, WV. He was a past master of the Silverton Grange and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing camping and was an avid West Virginia sports fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cathy M. (Pifer) Bigley; son, Nathan P. Bigley (Sara); daughter, Melissa Bigley; grandchildren, Makayla and Huntley; brothers, Hal Bigley, Jr. (Kim), Joseph Bigley (Kathy), David Bigley (Tammy) and Timothy Bigley (Jimella); sister, Debra Pauley (Jeff) and several nieces  and nephews.

Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Second Baptist Church, Ravenswood, with Pastor S.R. Parsons, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time at the church on Thursday.
