Tabitha Jane Rhodes, 29, of Huntington, WV, passed away on February 20, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, with her father, John, and her boyfriend, Henry Bunnell, by her side. She was born on January 12, 1996, and is the daughter of John E. Rhodes and the late Lona A. Rhodes.

Tabitha loved her family, especially her daddy, who adored his sweet angel. She also shared her heart and life with Henry, whom she loved unconditionally.

Tabitha, with her sweet spirit, had a deep love for all animals. She spent many years caring for her beloved cats and dogs, always providing them with warmth and affection.

You could see Tabitha's creative and beautiful soul shine through in the many ways she expressed herself—through her ever-changing hairstyles and colors, her makeup, and the unique clothing she chose to wear. She had a beautiful singing voice. Her individuality and artistic spirit made her truly one of a kind.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lona A. Rhodes; her maternal grandparents, Hobert and Emma Jane Hundley, and maternal grandfather, Allen Perry; her paternal great-grandparents, Solon and Lois Knapp, and Leon and Violet Rhodes.

Tabitha is survived by her loving father, John; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Arlene Rhodes of Leroy, WV; and her many aunts and uncles, including Tim Rhodes of Parkersburg, WV; Sandra Howery (Deron) of Ripley, WV; Teresa Modrzakowski (Matthew) of Silverton, WV; and David Rhodes (Mychelle) of Letart, WV. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Monday, February 24, 2025 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV. Burial will follow in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
