Thelma Lucy (Stover) Snyder , 94, of Ripley, WV passed away July 22, 2022 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.

She was born May 4, 1928 in Rock Castle, WV, the daughter of the late Holly P. and Lucy Mary (Casto) Stover. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn W. Snyder; brothers, Edgar J. Stover and Russell H. Stover and sisters, Hazel Baker, Louise Easter, Agnes White, Mary Depue and Belle Raines.

Thelma was formerly employed by Plastic Products in Bedford Heights, OH prior to retiring and moving back home to Jackson County. She was a homemaker and attended the Ripley Baptist Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her sisters, Caroline Boggess, Betty Merical and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Burial will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
