Theresa "Terri" Marie (Root) Dodd, 80, of Laurelville, OH, passed away March 23, 2023, in Berger Hospital, Circleville, OH, following an extended illness.

She was born April 14, 1942, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Elbert and Marie (Harper) Root. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Dodd; grandson, Mitchell "Mitch" Fisher; brothers, Elwood and Frank Robert Root; sister, Diana Workman; loving partner, Elmer Livingston.

She was the owner and operator of Terri's Boutique and worked for many years at Pickaway Diversified. She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed riding horses, animals, gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her daughters, Sherri (Willy) Fisher of Little Hocking, OH and Connie (Mike) Crosby of Laurelville, OH; grandchildren, James Fisher, Ronnie Gillespie, Natasha Snell Gillespie, Amber Gillespie, Zachery Dodd and Ryan Dodd; five great-grandchildren.

Private burial and service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Otterbein Cemetery, Evans, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred or floral arrangements may be sent to Sherri L. Fisher, 72 Franklin Dr., Little Hocking, OH, 45742 or to the funeral home before Saturday.  Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
