Violet Lorraine (Riggs) Johnson, Cundiff, Neff, 91, of Ravenswood, WV, most recently of New Haven, WV , passed away November 26, 2021, in Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, OH, following an extended illness.

She was born October 19, 1930, in Middleport, OH, a daughter of the late Ira and Ruth (Gardner) Riggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Johnson, Holbert Lee Cundiff and Jack S. Neff; sons, Duane Johnson and Larry Cundiff; brother, Dr. Keith Riggs; grandson, Alan Duane Johnson.

She was a former teachers aid in the music department at Ravenswood High School. She was a member of the Independent United Brethren Church, Ravenswood, WV. She enjoyed playing the piano and her pets.

Survivors include her son, Roy Jack Neff of Ravenswood; daughters, Kim (Bob) Jones of Shade, OH and Kelly Caldwell of Ravenswood; brother, Michael and a sister, Allison; daughter-in-law, Vera Johnson McMillion of Middleport, OH; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1:45 p.m. ~ Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Ravenswood Cemetery with Pastor Anton Hager officiating. Visitation will be from 12 o'clock noon until 1 p.m. at the Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV. A procession will leave the funeral home shortly after 1 p.m. for the graveside service in Ravenswood, WV.
