Willadean Francis (Parsons) Rhodes, 84, of Ravenswood, WV, formerly of Foster Ridge (Parchment Community) passed away April 16, 2024 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born March 8, 1940, in Roane County, WV, a daughter of the late Oscar Hackney and Annie L. (Moore) Parsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Rhodes Jr.; sisters, Redith Rucker, Imogene Garnes, Lucille Mullinex and Madeline Garnes; son, Roy Daniel Parsons; longtime companion, Leroy Garnes.

She was a homemaker. She was a former caretaker and delivered newspapers. She enjoyed music, auctions and farming.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianna Barnett and her husband Perry of Ravenswood, Deanna Rhodes and her husband Carl of Huntington; brother, Marvin "Pete" Parsons of Georgia; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Christian, Jessica (Cahil) Adkins, Julianna Barnett and Randy Hunt, William (Sierra) Barnett, Michael Brown II, Samantha (Chris) Maas, Corie Rhodes, Natisha (Stanley) Miller, Shelby (Grant) Phillips, Emily Rhodes, Sarah McGrew and Marissa Parsons and Travis Pethtel; daughter in law Libby Parsons; 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Service will be 4 p.m. ~ Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Larry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty, WV. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home
