William Russell "Bill" Burch, 75 of Belleville, IL formerly of Jackson County, WV passed away suddenly January 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born August 10, 1946 in Falls View, WV the son of the late Russell G. and Evelyn Lucille (Boyd) Burch. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. (Still) Burch; sister, Beverly Smith and brother, Joe Burch.

Bill was a 1965 graduate of Ripley High School, a United States Army Vietnam War era veteran and a Protestant.  He was a retired foreman and supervisor in the steel and aluminum manufacturing industry and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, socializing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Bryan Burch (Karen) of Point Pleasant, Wendy Megee (Chris) of Selbyville, DE and Shanda Morris (Chris) of Sneads Ferry, NC; stepdaughter, Michelle Fink of Belleville, IL; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alan Smith and sister-in-law, Carol Burch both of Cottageville and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Evergreen Hills Freewill Baptist Church, Cottageville, WV with Pastor Mark Price officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church. Private interment will be in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV.
