William Ray Rhodes Jr., 32, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Jackson County, WV, passed away June 11, 2023 at his home.

He was born April 18, 1991, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late William Ray Rhodes Sr. and Melissa Lynn (Huffman) Donat of Ripley, WV.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Zach McClosky and Matthew Whittington, grandfathers, Shirley Ray Rhodes and Edward Huffman.

He worked in construction and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother survivors include his son, William Ray Rhodes III of Logan, OH; daughter, Makiah Rhodes of Logan, OH; sister, Kasondra Rhodes; brothers, Chase, Damian and Donte Kidd, Austin and Ruger Rhodes, Adam McClosky and Shane Thompson; grandmothers, Velma L. Rhodes of Ravenswood and Beverly Moore of Kenna. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service will be 1 p.m.~ Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV with Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Wilding Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
