Wilma Gean Kapp, 63, of Evans, WV passed away August 11, 2025 at the home of her daughter in Huntington, WV.

She was born March 1, 1962, in Evans, WV, a daughter of the late William Gene McClary and Ruby Elizabeth (Saunders) McClary Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie McNeely.

She graduated from Roane-Jackson Technical Center and Rio Grande University. She was a former employee of NGK Spark Plug Plant in Sissonville, WV. Wilma enjoyed reading, sewing, working in her shop and quilting.

Survivors include her son, Wade H. Bird of Evans, WV; daughters, Terra E. Baker and Charity L. Bird both of Huntington, WV; brothers, Billy R. McClary of Troutman, NC and Samuel P. McClary of Fortville, IN; sister, Candy L. Ferguson of Olustee, OK; grandchildren, Aspen, Vanessa, Adrian, Haily and James.
